Winter Blues

In 5 weeks our TT comes out of indoor winter storage (Fairgrounds, they tell you what day to come and get it). This month has been a record month for snow fall. The 1962 February monthly snow fall record stood at 25", until this year. I have not heard the final February numbers, but it is well over 40 inches if not north of 50 inches (just during the month of February).

The snow is everywhere, the piles are huge. March is coming and it is our snowiest month!

I cut back two large snow piles this week with the snowblower, and more need to be pushed back.

I hope March is sunny and dry! Happy thoughs, spring will come

We don't have your snow but otherwise I feel your pain. I'm tired of the rain I'm tired of the rain oh I said that already and I'm tired of the cold. Got to wear shorts an a t-shirt for about 2 hours Sat. then before we knew it within 2 hours it dropped 10 degrees and the jeans an Carhart came back out.
I'm glad I didn't reserve any camping for March. Our local weather guru says we do have a chance of snow until the end of March. Not to mention its hard to fish for catfish when ya can't feel your fingers.

Jagiven, forecast for SE Wisconsin is upper 20s and light snow through mid-March. Makes me unhappy to think about it.

EDIT: I just read we're going to have below zero temps. Sunday night it's supposed to be -6. The lowest March temperature in Milwaukee since 1962! That's before I was born!

Out of respect I am not going to post pictures of the Azaleas blooming here in Mobile Al. Y’all have my respect in dealing with the low temps. My dad was from Traverse City Michigan. When WWll broke out and he joined the Army Air Corps and trained in Panama City Fl. he said he would not live in the snow again.

Ours are already blooming a month early from the unseasonably warm weather.

Sorry, I couldn't resist.

My tomato plants are growing in leaps and bounds! Looking forward to our next camping trip in April. Ya'll in the North, I feel your pain. Sure hope you thaw out sooner than later.

X2, just saw that on channels 6 & 58. Snow, then below average temps, then more snow and more below average temps. Remember how nice it was in Dec? I think winter is just coming later and lasting longer. Could be a sign of what's happening to the weather pattern in coming years.

When we heard it was coming out April 5th, we said excellent, maybe we can get out mid month, for an early start on the season. Well we may have to see about that. Happy thoughts of spring.

Just got done shoveling another 3-4 more inches of snow. Back to happy thoughts of spring

74 and sunny here today and mostly 60's the last several days. Full disclosure now, getting back to the 30's this weekend before rebounding next week.

Daffidels have been blooming now for 2 weeks.

We had originally planned on heading to AZ from MN this Friday with out 5er but had to change plans due to some life changes we have coming.
To be perfectly honesty, I don’t know if it’s even possible to move our 5er from it’s spot in Inver Grove Heights if I wanted to let alone get it in my drive with the 5 foot snow banks.

It’s been a tough February... March isn’t looking any better

You upper plains guys should come to the balmy northeast! We can drive on our snow - as a matter of fact I haven't had to plow since the beginning of February - and the temps are high teens to upper 20's. Positively Floridian compared to you.
