Winterizing question

We will take delivery of our Eagle 256RKS next week. This is our first TT. We are lifelong tent campers getting ready for early retirement. I've been reading and learning a lot on this forum. I have a question about winterizing.

We live in Central Floriduh and typically get less than a dozen nights with temps below freezing for a few hours at a time. The TT will probably be parked at a private TT park on Mosquito Lagoon during those cold months and we will be using it on weekends.

Was wondering what we would might need to do to protect the TT on those random sub-freezing nights, if anything. Thanks for any help

Being in Central Fla. I do not think any type of winterizing would be necessary. The retained heat from the previous day would keep the temp in the TT from falling too low and only a few hours of sub freezing temps would not be a problem. What I have done when we have a cold night before I winterized is leave a small electric heater on low to be safe. If you had a freak extended cold snap and are in doubt (not likely where you are), you could open up the low point drains and run the electric heater.

I agree with Crabman... it will not be cold enough long enough to freeze the water lines... think how cold your freezer is and how long it takes to make ice cubes...

It should not be a problem. An occasional frost won't hurt a thing. It is the freeze that last for several days that will hurt things.
