Wow, I'm Overwhelmed

Soooo much to learn. We just purchased our first motorhome, a Jayco Redhawk 23XM. So I'm looking for a good voltage/amp tester that plugs into the campground pedestal and discovered that Good Governor GG101 is great. What isn't great is try to buy one! Does anyone have some suggestion as to recommendations? I would really appreciate your guidance.

New guy on the block.
Thanks

Oh, our unit is 30 amp

Congratulations on the Redhawk and welcome to the forum.

I'm sure someone will be along with some suggestions for an alternative to the Good Governor.

I use the 50a version of this and have been very satisfied with it.

Congratulations and welcome to the group - I second Norty's suggestion of Progressive Industries product line. Great products all around along with excellent customer service if needed.

I hardwired the Progressive Industries EMS-HW30C in my Jay Feather; I like this unit for several reasons:
- unit includes a digital display you mount inside your rig that scrolls continuously through the power source information to show any errors.
- The hardwired unit can't grow legs and walk off
- You don't have to get it out every time you plug into a pedestal
- you can leave it behind when you leave
- and its actually a few dollars cheaper

I installed it myself which is quite easy to do; here is an Install Video I created.

Thanks one and all, I fell much better now. I decided to purchase the EMS-PT30C. A little pricey but our RV wasn't exactly cheap. Well worth the investment to protect our investment.
