+1 for the Flexzilla. On year 2 now, and no issues. Well made, flexible, and potable water rated.

Just replaced our hoses with our new to us unit. Let the old ones go with the old rig we sold. I went with Flexzilla after seeing the leaking Zero G reviews. Bought a 50’ and 25’. They are very light and take up very little space. I’m quite happy so far.

"I’ve used Zero-G hoses for years w/o any problems. In fact mine are so old I just ordered a bunch more. Hopefully something hasn’t changed wide scale; perhaps you got unlucky?"

I've had mine for a little over a year and same leak issues you have. not very bad but enough to be irritating. My brother has had a brand called Flexi Hose for over 3 years w/ no issues. You cant wad it up like the Zero G but pretty close. At $50 bucks for 25 feet its an investment.. I'll probably pull the trigger and get one today.

Zero G

I have used ZeroG hoses at home and my RV for at lest 3 years and never had a problem.

I'm on my 2nd Zero-G hose, our first one developed a leak in the inner liner and would soak the outer cover. I took it back to Lowes, and the new one has been fine for 2 years.

I always blow the excess water out and never hook the 2 ends together in storage... maybe trapped water inside cause the mold?

[QUOTE=Quantum;959308]On YouTube, this guys zero G sprung a leak like yours, below the connector. For fun, he opened it up to examine the inside and was surprised to see mold growing in the hose. I think he said it was 8 months old.

The guys doesn't know what he's talking about. That is a perfectly harmless biofilm. At least here in the Northeast when you look inside any copper or PEX pipe that's been in use for a few month you will find this.

It's really bad here because our drinking water is so pure the government doesn't require it to be filtered, only chlorinated. It has a very high amount of harmless organic compounds.

Repair on Zero G

So, just for grins and giggles, I tried to repair my original leaky Zero G 50 footer. I bought brass connectors and some hose clamps and went at it. It's a little red neck looking but it works with NO LEAKS!! I will either use it as a back up or around the house.
