1990 Jayco 5th Wheel

It might sound old, but it is sure a nice looking and well taken care of camper. We are so excited to get it home. Pulling it with our 2005 2500HD Chevrolet Silverado. Can not wait for our first camping trip out....glad to find this forum and hope to read about some great family trips from everyone! Enjoy and God Bless!!

I forgot to say, not just family stories, but couple stories. Our kids are almost all grown, only one left at home and he is 17, so we will be duo camping a lot. So let us know some great places to head to. Mostly around the mid-west, but I'm sure we will head out beyond that at times too. Thanks!

Welcome to the Jayco Owners Forum BobKat! While waiting for new stories from fellow Jayco travelers, peruse the forum for some previous adventures from members here. There's even one that shows a scary situation while driving in snow . We look forward to seeing pics of your 'new to you' 5'er!

If ya make it to Witchita Kansas, there is a pretty neat working Underground Salt Mine in nearby Hutchinson.... http://www.undergroundmuseum.org/index.php . There is also a very cool Cosmosphere and Space Center down the road from the mine http://www.cosmo.org/ .

Howdy Bobkat,
Welcome to the forum. Late last year I purchased an older Jayco fifth wheel as well. It was a 1995. I love it. I'm right across the river from you in Nebraska. So far I've been to Mesa, AZ and Baton Rouge, LA in it.

Hi and Welcome... We also bought an older Jayco. It's a 1993 30ft.er. We've had it about a year and a half now and love it. Jayco's seem to be like Energizer Bunnies..They just keep going and going....We've taken it to Montana and a couple shorter trips in Mn. In a few days we're leaving for Roosevelt Natl. Park for a few days and then on to Wolf Point Mt. for the Rodeo. Hope you enjoy your "new to you" 5th wheel as much as we have.
