2 New Trailers in a Month!

Hey...

Never owned a trailer before, but my wife and I talked about it for a few months and about a month ago we bought a 2017 Jayflight 26BH... loved it! Then we decided to seasonally park it about 1:20 minutes away in the Catskills, NY. We love it!

After a full month of enjoying it thoroughly... we decided the camper was just to small for our needs. Everyones needs are different, but we have a 3 year old, a 6 month old, a large dog... lots of friends and family.

So this past Thursday I hauled it back to the dealer and this Tuesday we are picking up a 2017 Jayflight 32BHDS. We are super pumped! For those of you who want to know, yeah I probably got screwed in the deal, but it is just money and the memories and fun will last forever!

So I found this forum doing more research about the new camper, looking for known problems, reviews, and tips etc. and thought it was awesome that there is a community out there like this... glad to be a part of it!

As for our 26BH...amazing little camper! We just realized after the fact that we needed even more space and a bigger bathroom since we are there every weekend now. If we were weekend warriors as originally sought... the 26BH was a perfect unit to tow around easily for quick get-a-ways.

Thanks for listening!

Oh... we almost went with a 32' passport... at the last minute, I was like NO... lets stay with Jayco, we loved our other unit! Also, I could not have joined this forum tonight! : )

It's only money. We can always make more but being happy is most important.

If you and family are happy that's what counts and yes memories are priceless.

I figured there would be comments about losing money...haha. I had the money, I didn't lose more than I can afford to lose. My kids still have shoes.

So we pick up the 32BHDS tomorrow... can't contain my excitement!

Camper Mike don't feel bad I've had three brand-new trailers in three years all because I keep upgrading and like you I take a little bit of a loss but I've got the money to do it enjoy your new baby

I heard that some people come back the next day for a bigger camper.. I upgraded after a month. It is extremely common to upgrade.

I was joking with my wife, the night before you sign the papers, the dealer should let you bring all the stuff you think you need, your family, your dog, kids, mother-in-law to help decide if you have the right size camper. Or just the mother-in-law to make sure there is enough barrier... hahaha

All in fun!
