Question 2012 White Hawk

Just picked up a pre owned 28dsbh all went well for our first trip but the black tank flush caused the under belly to fill with water. and the water pipes vibrate when the faucets were turned on. Has any one had these problems? And how were they fixed.

Hi William,

Welcome to the JOF. Congrats on your new trailer.

Did you run the back flush before you opened the black tank gate? The gate should be open the whole time while the back flush is running. If the gate was open it sounds like the back flush line has come undone somewhere causeing it to flood.
The pipes vibrating is somewhat normal if you are using your water pump thats under the kitchen sink.... or if using city water there might be to much water pressure coming into the trailer from the city line. You'll need to buy a water pressure regulator to correct that.. google camco pressure regulator to give you an idea of what to buy.... a very inexpesive fix.

hope that helps a little.

Cheers

I had a similar problem with our Greyhawk, turns out the vent lines were not working properly. It was covered under the warranty, and now it flushes as it should.
