2019 Pinnacle 36FBTS

Hi,
After 2 yrs of researching and trying to determine our needs, we bought our 5er on Jan 10 2019. It will be arriving in late April of 2019.
Our plans are to full time once I reach full retirement age. Sept 2020, Until then we will try to figure out how to tow and set up /tear down camp.

Congratulations.

I have found the best way to figure out how to tow and set up/tear down camp is
Go Camping A Lot.

Welcome from Alabama.

HI Mustang65,
I love the user name. BTW do you actually own a 65 Stang?
There will be pictures for sure... We will be receiving our rig sometime in April. The wife and I both plan to go through a driver training class as soon as receive the 5er.
Our first trip is planned for Labor day, then another for the 4th and then in September another trip...
I have never pulled a 40' trailer before. I pulled hay trailers and horse trailers but nothing this big...so it will be a learning curve. for sure.
Thanks for the advice...
Rick

Good advice, thank you ....
As stated above I am planning to retire in Sept 2020, to full timing in our new home.
In reality, the above statement, that is why I bought the rig when I did. That way it would give us time to learn and experience(practice) prior to our full-timing date.

Rick how do you like the High Country? We have a 2017 Pinnacle and a 2019 High Country on order for a mid March delivery. We love the camper easy to pull and very stable once set up.

I am not completely sure why you are asking me about the
"High Country" ?
I purchased a Pinnacle.

My apologies... when you asked me how I liked my "High Country", I immediately thought of the Keystone Montana High Country fifth wheel....hahaha!
I do own a Silverado High Country. I just purchased it in October in preparation for pulling our fifth wheel. I love how it handles...From the research, I have done your 2019 will have sooooo much more power. Let me know how you like it when you get it..

Once again, my apologies..

We stay in a lot of spots that only have 30 amp service with a lot of sun. We set the AC at 73 /74 by the mid to late afternoon we will be at 78/80 or hotter. It is such a big area to cool with only 1 unit with the second unit running it will stay were we set it and cycle on and off.

Congrats on your new 2019 Pinnacle 36FBTS. We purchased new a 2016 Pinnacle 36FBTs back in 2016. I retired in June of 2018. We have been full timing in our Pinnacle since then.

I did add a generator and am just now finishing putting solar on our roof. We ended up purchasing an RV lot in Florida. We plan to use this to launch out to various destinations.

Good luck. We profited from having a couple of years under our belt to get used to pulling and using such a big rig.

Happy RVing!
