Just bought this camper for a really good price because the previous owner tried to open it without unlatching the rear latches. It is otherwise in very good condition for its age and towed well 120 miles to get it home. They have new parts to repair lift system but never installed them. I am looking to get info on getting roof up without damaging it. My plan is to hoist it from the luggage racks. the front comes up with crank but not the back. from what I have found on the web It looks like I want to get roof up without using the crank so the rear cables are not pulled up into tracks and out of reach. If anyone has any tricks or things I should watch for to save me from learning by mistake I would love to hear from you. Thanks larrypam50

Welcome larrypam50.
While we don't have an exact answer to your question someone should be along soon that can be of more help.
