A little help to new members

Often when you post here the first time, you will tell us a little about yourself, as well as what type of RV you own. That's great! However, later, you may come back and ask questions or look for assistance. No problem there either. Everyone here loves to help. Every once in a while, I will see a person asking a question and they will be listed as a "new member". They ask the question, but forget to put what model RV they own. One way to only have to list it once is in your signature. If I see a question, but no model listed, I always look down at the signature. Lots of time it tells me what model the question is about. I can then make a more educated guess as to how to help. No model listed anywhere, well, I can then only make a generic guess. Please, "new member"s, help us help you, by telling us what you have. I enjoy helping, as most of us do. Help us, help you. Thanks

Another issue is that new members often ask questions in their introduction thread, in the new members forum. The problem with that is many members rarely or never view the new members forum, but frequent the other forums such as the TRAVEL TRAILER forum, etc. So many of our experienced problem solvers never see the question that the new member is asking about and therefore it goes unanswered.

Yes indeed. My Pinnacle kpts should be manufactured around Oct. 8th and I am certain to have a question or two.
