Amp Advice

My wife and I (and 2 girls) just sold our cottage to become campers! We ecently purchased a 2010 Jay Feather 213EXP and can't wait to pick it up in a couple of weeks. We are anxiously booking our summer vacation.

Quick question:
Does anyone know if I am limited to only a 30 Amp service site or can I also book a 50 amp site (I ask because it refers to including a 30-amp power cord) Thanks.

I believe your size tt is a 30 amp. Good news is that you don't have to pay extra for the 50amp that many bigger units have to pay for in some campgrounds

Rule of thumb that we have learned..... Look at the plug on the shore power cord. If three prongs, 30 amp. If 4 prongs, 50 amp. You can use EVERYTHING on 50 amp (100 amps of 120 VAC available). You are somewhat limited on what you can run on 30 amp (30 amps available).

Anyhow, with our (little?) tt, we do fine w/available 30amp

Your trailer is limited to 30 amps and the cord you have is made to plug into a 30 amp outlet.
You can book a 50 amp service site, but you will need a 50 amp male plug to 30 amp female plug adapter.
