And Off I Go

This is sort of a backwards welcome mat today as I can no longer participate here on the forum.

It's not because I'm selling my trailer, back in early August, I noticed a lump on the lower right side of my throat. After numerous appointments, I was finally diagnosed with anaplastic thyroid carcinom, a very aggressive cancer that is fast growing and uncurable. I'll spare the details, it's not a fun cancer. Given the spread to my lungs, my prognosis is not good, and it will all be over in the next few days.

I just want to thank everyone for years of tips and tricks, learning and the valuable discussions. The laughs over stupid things we've done to our units over the years, and I hope that some of my contributions help others as time passes.

Enjoy your camping when you get out, and live life to the fullest!

Dang not the post I expected to read. Sure hate to hear cancer has chosen you. It’s an absolutely horrible disease that has affected many in this board in so many ways. I hope you are able to be as comfortable as possible and get to spend as much time as possible doing what you love.

As a cancer survivor, I am aware of how you are probably feeling. That being said, I pray God grant you mercy in your fight, and that you join Him in that fight. Never give up, never surrender, my friend. God knows things doctors don't. God bless you, sir.

Colby, the best to you and to all who love you. I'm a nurse and understand where you're at. Be comfortable and smile when you think about how your life has contributed to the betterment of others. Godspeed, my Jayco Forum friend.

We are praying for God's intervention. As NavCop said, the Drs are not God.

My prayers are with you. I know there are no words from Internet strangers that really help but there is a community here and in the maybe campsites and you've been a wonderful part of it. Peace.
