back to rving

my wife and i bought a jayco 291rlts last may this is our first 5th wheel , weve had motorhomes,tent trailer and tented in the last 25 years. we got out of camping in 2005 bought a houseboat and spent a lot of time on the lake and had many memories doing it .but in 2011 our 19 year old son was killed by a drunk driver , after that we decided we life is too short and you never know when our time will come and we need to travel again that was what our son loved to do so now were back and looking forward to camping again . we are having a great time in our 5th wheel

Welcome to JOF, and back to camping after your loss. Our sympathies go out to you. But you are right on about life being too short. Looks like your 5er is very similar to our 2004 29RLTS, except for the location of the kitchen sink. We sure enjoy ours, and know you will enjoy yours as well. Please post often, and it's great to have you aboard.

Welcome to the JOF Garfield. Sorry to hear about your son's tragic death; it's neat that you are continuing something that was special to him/you while he was young. We also returned to rv'ing after a hiatus knowing 'time could be short'. Have fun making new memories
