Back to RV'ing after 25 years

Hello Everyone,

We are back to the RV world. After selling our Class A Winnebago back in 1990, we are back.

We recently purchased a Jayco Greyhawk 29MV and we're ready to roll.

So let's see, where did I put that bucket list. Oh yeah. First a couple of "get to know the coach" weekends, then Alaska in mid May. Still looking for that highway to Hawaii ........ LOL

See you on the road .......

Welcome back to RVing and to the JOF.

We were in Lafayette late last year... We LOVE Cajun food! Took a 'Cajun Food Tour' and bought a bunch of stuff we don't find around here in AZ. One stop on the tour was Earl's Cajun Market. In addition to other goodies, we bought a couple of frozen boneless chickens with tasso and shrimp stuffing - those were amazing!. We just recently finished off the last of our tasso and andouille . We're looking forward to getting back to Cajun Country again.

It's a long trip to AK from Lafayette! Have a great trip. Laissez les bons temps rouler!

Thanks to all for the good wishes.

I'm glad you enjoyed Lafayette. If you experienced "The Best Stop" or "Billy's" in Scott (next to Lafayette) for your Boudin, you were five miles from our home.

I can appreciate the statement of Alaska being a long drive, but we rolled just over 200,000 miles on motorcycles from April 01 to June '14. We covered 38 of the 48 continental states in that time frame, experiencing "all" kinds of weather.

Although the Alaska trip will be long, it will be more comfortable than Motorcycles ... LOL.

Hope to see you down the road .....
