became a member today
Just purchased 2019 Jayco HT 27.5 RLST 5th wheel camper trailer. This is my first 5th wheel camper. I have previously owned a pop up, a travel trailer and two slide in truck campers. I still have one and haven't decided if I will keep it or sell it. Have camped in past out of cars, vans, and trucks. Have spent a lot of time on the ground in a tent and some just under a tarp. My wife shares the joy of camping with me and she too is a life long camper. We are both recently retired and have taken three 6 week trips with our truck camper during the past 18 months. We enjoy Florida in the winter and look foreward to meeting new friends while camping with our new camper.

Congrats on the new memory maker and, welcome to JOF. I know of several who kept a slide-in as their Alaska trip camper instead of putting that wear on a large trailer.
