Black water tank problem

Hi, I have a Flight 36BHDS new last December. We have been living in it since then and so far no problems until yesterday. It is hooked up to water and sewage and yesterday I emptied the black water tank, which the gage showed as full. It seemed to me it drained too quickly. After the emptying the gage still showed 3/4 full but this morning it showed 1/2 full. Most of the time we just use the toilet to pee but last week my wife had an upset stomach so we closed the valve and added some deodorant. She ended up using it a couple of times so I decided to drain it.
Could this be a case of the sensor showing wrong info? I can't think of any other reason.
I also tried using the power flush but I saw no water coming out of the drain.

My Jayco never seems to empty all at once. It empties about half, then I hook up the flush and the other half seems to empty but I have to leave the flush running for a couple minutes. It helps to have a clear connector so you can see what's going through the hose. I have a Sewer Solution and it has a clear fitting. Using plenty of water helps the entire system work better (along with rapid disolving tp)....I discovered that a long time ago.
Having said all of that, my tank hardly ever reads empty and according to most posts I have read over the years, neither does anyone elses. Just the way it is

The stock tank sensors in the black tank are unreliable at best, and utterly useless at worst.

The more water you use, the less problems you will have.
