Door hardware and drain hoses

Bought new Jay Flight in February 2014. Continual issues with the doors (including shower door) refusing to open and closing properly, won't lock or dead bolt (outside). Dealership repaired once and we are again experiencing same problem. Has anyone else had this issue? Also, what are the blue and red drain? tubes for located near the grey/black water tanks, approx. at the point where the shower pan is located? Thx!

you may want to post your model number so people with the same can comment. My door works great other than Jayco had the catch upside down. Fixed in 30 seconds. The blue and red drains are your low point drains to empty your lines. The valves should be inside your vanity cabinet somewhere

Sounds like it may be a different issue, but I had a problem with my door not closing properly (had to slam it pretty hard) and the lock being very difficult to turn. My "fix" was a simple as a bit of WD40 on the latch and in the key holes. Door now closes with just the slightest push. Ended up doing the same thing to my slam latches and outdoor shower latch and all have been much easier to use since.

If you look at the edge of the door you will see two screws. Holding the latching mechanism in place. Loosen the two screws slightly and raise the latch and deadbolt up slightly. Retighten the screws and see if the door works better. Repeat if needed. I applied some blue Loctite to the screws to keep them from vibrating loose once I had the door latch working properly.
