Down to two choices for my seasonal sight!!
OK, I have it down to 2 choices after months of looking...uugh! for my Maine (500ft from the ocean) seasonal sight!?!?!?!?
Jayflight 33 RLDS--
Pros...love the layout large kitchen counter, fireplace area, lots of room, everything about it, really!
Cons...I have a 24x8 foot screen porch with Durabilt hard roof, door side bump out will be on it...
Eagle 316 RKDS--
Pros...no slideouts on porch side, love the big rear kitchen and counters, windows...
Cons...No fireplace, more $$$
Making it happen this weekend...any thoughts???? Thanks Ellbee

That would be a hard decision. I am thinking I would go with the Eagle. You will use your screen porch more than the fire place

Welcome to the site.
I would be leaning to the Eagle also for the same reasons as Lockey66 stated.
Have you looked at the destination JayFlights?

Sounds like the Eagle is the way to go, but just a thought...can you add the fireplace to the Eagle? I know it will cost more up front, but several years from now when it's paid for, that cost won't even be relevant, but the enjoyment you get from both your porch and the fireplace will give you memories that will last a lifetime! Not to mention, It will help keep the place warm on those cooler nights.

Thanks for the input...
can't add a fireplace to the Eagle
true about the porch, my last and first seasonal TT (in a different park) had zero slides and the porch was an awesome
addition!
Well....guess I'll see what happens when I get there, I am known to make spontaneous decisions...LOL
thanks again, stay tuned

OK...decided on the 33 RLDS....I just love this layout and believe its right for me. Tough decision, that Eagle is real nice, but I love the extra space in the Jayflight...Wow what a long 6 months looking at every brand out there and researching like crazy, I have to say I have learned a lot about TT's...glad I took the time to read about it all...my next question is FIBERGLASS or ALUMINUM??? any thoughts?

Thanks Crabman, Aluminum it is! Although the fiberglass does look nice, I have also seen many, many old aluminum TT's lookin' just fine! comes down to the extra $$ also, and this one little income of mine helps...ellbee
