Downsized

After 9 years of wintering at rv resorts in az we sold 40ft dp and bought a redhawk 26ds. Going to explore now. Leaving home in mi end of October and let new adventure begin. Did a weekend test with coach and no issues. Not used to that.

Welcome to JOF. We are a friendly community and have a lot of knowledgeable Redhawk owners. Also a Social group with much info, slick on community on top bar and click Social Groups.

Also a lot of Redhawk wannabes! It's great to hear that you have had a successful experience.

Welcome to the forum and congratulations on the Redhawk.

Bring your new RV to AZ. Lots to explore here and, depending on elevation, there are good places to stay year 'round!

Winter 2017/18

We are leaving Houghton Lake Mi home Oct 20 and taking a couple weeks to head to winter quarters this year in fortuna foothills outside Yuma Az. We plan on doing many side trips with new smaller MH this winter. Return home mid April. Since we live on a lake, we don't rv as much in summer as we should. But this winter, I plan on burning up some gas.
Since I am used to air suspension with DP, I decided to add airtabs to my redhawk to help stabilize the west winds. Any comments or experience with them from you folks out there.?
