electrical diagram

Hello everyone, I was hoping to get some insight as to what may be going on with the electrical outlets on the left side of my camper, 2018 Jayco 38bhds. They have ceased to work, lol. No tripped breakers and no tripped GFIC's. Two of the three that aren't working are in the rear bedroom on either side of the slide out. The third one is in the main slide out and is the only outlet in the slide out. Entering the rear BR the outlet immediately right, but not part of the slide out, feeds the outlet across the room towards the end of the camper. If I had a 120v electrical diagram I could probably isolate the problem starting from the breaker panel. I just have no way of knowing which circuit to investigate. Thanks in advance for any help.

I'm sure you did.but make sure to flip all breakers off and back on.

You can contact Jayco and send them your vin and they may be able to provide you a wiring diagram.

Otherwise, sounds like a long day with a multimeter and wire tracing.

Start at the breaker, have power, move on to nearest out, have power keep going. Make sure all connections are tight as you go, even at the breaker. My guess a loose connection somewhere. Bad grounds will frustrate the snot out of you. That's usually the last thing checked but first thing wrong.

Electrical can be a pain.

X2, on contacting Jayco with your vin number and ask for the 120V electrical schematic. That will show you what is tied to what. Unfortunately, when I got mine years ago, it did not show the routing.

I suspect you have a loose wire connection, either at the circuit breaker, or at the first outlet in the daisy chain. If it was a damaged wire, you probably would have a tripped breaker.

If it was me, with both the 12V and 120V power 100% disconnected. I would pull the circuit breaker panel from the wall, and check each wire lug. It is fairly common to hear there are loose wire connections. From there, which ever outlet that is not working that is closest to the breaker, is the next spot I would check to see if there is power at the wires. After checking the connections, and if that outlet is not the GFI outlet, I would then proceed to pull the GFI outlet, and check the connections there.

Only outlet that is not GFI protected on my TT, is the microwave. I suspect yours will be the same.

FYI, I contacted Jayco this morning for a copy of mine (just to have) and they advised since I'm still under warranty they would not send me a copy. I did however get a build sheet and roof truss layout.

This will be, unfortunately, what my next off day will be filled with, thanks.
