First new RV

Good Afternoon,

I used to camp with my parents when I was younger, these are some of my best summer memories.

Two years ago my husband and I bought a used 1998 Jayco pop-up from my parents neighbours. We fixed it up and have used it for the past 2 summers and have loved it; but after 2 summers we were ready for bigger and better things.

We recently ordered a 2018 Jayco Jay Flight 28BHS and it should arrive sometime in March or April. We are over the moon!

We ordered ours with almost all the bells and whistles, the feature we are most curious about is the auto-leveling feature and wondering about others experiences with it.

Can't wait to start camping in 2018!

Welcome to JOF, sounds like your getting ready for some new adventures. Start making reservations at the state parks they fill up fast.

Congratulations and enjoy. As far as the auto leveling
Goes, from what I have read have the unit mostly level and then it will level the last inch or so. I have it on my new 5th wheel but I have not used it much being I had put it away for winter. However the little bit I have used it it's pretty sweet. Just keep in mind to have the unit fairly level before auto leveling it. The nice thing about it is get it close and it will take care of the rest. I have used it manually and it works awsome. Auto level function works but can be a little bit picky and have errors. However take my word with a grain of salt because I have only used it a handful of times

Congratulations on your new trailer and welcome to the forum. Some really good contributors here. My wife and I spent 6 months on the forum before we purchased our TT and it made for some great trips with virtually no stress when we first got it.

Thank you all for the wonderful warm welcomes!!

We actually booked our first state park weekend for the Victoria Day long weekend in May. Weather can be a bit touchy that weekend up here. But hey we are Northerners and we'll tough it out!
