First owned Travel Trailer

So it finally happened. Tomorrow we will be picking up our new Jay Flight SLX 267 BHS. My wife and I made a deal a few years ago. Once I get promoted to MSgt I get an RV. When she finishes her degree, she gets a new F150. So far I don't have to worry about a new truck payment for a while. (She hates that joke). Anyway, I have rented/borrowed travel trailers before so I am not a complete newbie. This is the first one that I have ever owned. Because of my previous experiences I knew what I wanted. Had to have the bunkhouse for the kids and a separate bedroom for the wife and I. I could not find a used one, which is how I wanted to go. We found this 2018 in Colorado just sitting there waiting for us. So here we are. I started reading some of the stickies already and realized that I do not know nearly as much as I thought I did. Thanks for letting me join and I look forward to picking all your brains for advice and experience.

Jay

Welcome! And good choice! We picked up a 2017 267BHS in January and love the floor plan. Typical camping weekend is me, my wife, 9, 7 and 4 year old, my sister and her 5 year old.
