First time RV owner

New to Jayco and RV ownership after renting RV’s for several years. Just purchased a 2019 Jayco 32F. Our family and friends mostly dry camp. Looking for advice on battery upgrades, solar and any other advice regarding dry camping with our Jayco. Thank you for all your advice and expertise.

Welcome! You will find a lot of great advice ( and some not so great) but for best advice add your make, model and year to signature and make sure you add the exact model of appliance you want advice on.

We don't camp off grid a lot but when we did I was always fear full of running battery down to keep warm.

On batteries, switched to Lithium from Renogy and 2 100 watt panels with an MPPT controller. Since then I camped 4 nights with snow at night but every day my battery was back up. Good systems will even give you state of charge in amps so you know at a glance how your battery and solar is doing. And no water to add or check, no worries about going below 50% charge, keeping on trickle charger and much lighter weight have aboard or carry.
