First Time RV'er
Hello All! After many years of wishing and waiting I'm finally the proud owner of a Jay Flight Swift 185RB! I've got my first trip out of the way with just a few hiccups. No propane hose and my awning fell off at some point going down the road but but I still had a great time! I'm looking forward to getting a lot deeper into this lifestyle at ever opportunity![

Welcome to JOF. Sorry to hear about the challenges but you've got a great attitude addressing them.

Welcome! We bought that model last fall, wanting a small, easy to store unit as we have many camping opportunities within 20 miles of our home, but in National Forest campgrounds which can be kind of tight. We have had zero problems, but you may want to ditch the cheap tires they put on these rigs for Maxxis 80008's (see some of the tire threads on here), and might I suggest a memory foam mattress, if you haven't figured that out yet! Happy camping!!

2x on that. I got a used one and it had a memory foam, and its probably more comfortable than my house bed!
Not sure if yours came with it but best thing I have done so far is to add LED to the inside lights - makes a white light and uses little power, we boondock a fair bit (no plugin).

I've actually considered a memory foam mattress. Question: How cool is that type of mattress? Also, what type of issues have you had with the stock tires???

Yes, my unit came with LED lights standard though I'm planning to increase battery capacity with a pair of 6 volt batteries and a solar array.

One can only hope but it appears we have the issues under control and Jayco is replacing the awning hat separated from the unit en-route. I'd just like to know "why" it fell off! *smh*
