First timer from Idaho

Hey all, I'm not sure if I really classify as a first-timer, as my parents took us out camping all the time. But this is the first RV I have personally owned. I have been looking for a toy hauler for about 5-7 years. Along the way, the wife and I started a family and vehicles changed out. As luck would have it I ended up getting a great deal on a 1-ton diesel truck, which lined up with the type of trailer I was looking for. A few weeks ago there was a RV super show and we went to go take a look. We walked a few floor plans and the wife fell in love with the Talon 313t. So now its sitting in our side yard weighing for a little better weather. Its a big trailer in person, me personally the longest trailer I have ever pulled at any distance was a 22-foot bumper pull. I came across this site today looking to find what the red switch in the bathroom was for (tank heaters I believe.) Anyway, I could chat all day about stuff.

Welcome to the forum and congratulations at keeping the wife happy.

Lots of us got started like you did with the parents and, truth be known, you've probably started your kids down that same path.

Many folks here chat about this stuff all day, so feel free to join in!

Welcome to the Forum. I lived in Boise for 7 years, absolutely wonderful place for a fly fisherman like myself.

Welcome from Wisconsin. My parents took us camping all the time too, first in a tent then they bought a popup that was very basic by todays popup standards. That was back in the late '50's and I've been hooked ever since. Enjoy your Talon!
