First Timers!

Hi Everyone!

I am a long time lurker but a first time owner. My wife and I actually run a small Jayco dealership (which I am not here to promote) so we do not have much free time during our camping season. We have always said "some day" we will get our own. Well, our girls are growing up WAY too fast (3 and 8) and if we don't make the time now it may be gone. When our first 26.5 BHS HT came in we finally took the leap. It's everything we need and more. (MUCH more than I need) We will have to camp within driving distance of work but we are making the commitment to get out and camp. We are looking really forward to our first outing and happy to finally have a Jayco of our own!

BTW.... I would really prefer to not have my day job be part of my forum life. I am just here to have fun and share experiences.

When you stay in something that nice, it's kind of hard to say you are "camping." Congratulations. And you did right in getting it while the kids are still small.

BTW, there is another thread someplace on the JOF with a poll asking how well you like your dealer.

I am a tent camper at heart but it was going to take a little better accommodations to get my 3 women out with me. The first two weeks will be dry camping. We will see how it goes!

Welcome. That's a nice trailer! I love the floorplan. We wanted something just like that with the double over double bunks, etc. because we have 4 kids but couldn't quite make it work with our Expedition. You will have plenty of room to grow.

We are awaiting our Jay Feather X254 being built this month, yippee!

Congratulations on your new trailer and welcome to the forum.

If you've had the dealership for a while, odds are I delivered trailers to you. Delivering Jayco trailers all over the U.S. and Canada was one reason why I bought a Jayco.

Since you run a Jayco dealership, let me ask you a question regarding warranty support.... nah, not really LOL

Welcome
