First trip in 2013 Eagle 284BHS

Brand new to the 4M from South Surrey British Columbia. Just had my first trip in my new 2013 284BHS to Deception Pass Washington. All went well except for water leaking onto the floor from my bathtub while taking a shower. My last trailer (2007 Cougar Keystone 268RLS) had a neo angle shower so I am not used to having a tub and curtain so maybe it is just me??? Just wondering if this is standard? The floor was soaked to the point where I had to stop the shower and to me does not seem normal.

I just went to Lowe's and bought some weather stripping and some clear silcone and plan on putting it on the edge of the tub to stop the water from coming out. If there is a better way....suggestions would be appreciated.

Other than that I LOVE the trailer!

Welcome to the JOF summitseeker! When you get a chance, do a search her on the forum. There are some different things that members have done over the years to keep the water from a shower in the shower and not on the floor. Congrats on an otherwise successful maiden voyage

Welcome Summitseeker,
We also have a 2013 Eagle 284BHS. Love it also. We have the same water running off the top of bathtub lip when the shower is running. I am going to run a bead of clear caulk from the raised part of the tub by the wall back into the tub. Boy trying to explain this is difficult for something so easy. Here is a picture of what I am going to do, before we head out next month. I used a piece of red jumper wire to simulate the caulk. The caulk has to go under the wall board to insure that it does not get past the caulking. Currently we are using a folded up face cloth, which does the trick pretty good.

I am sure you will love the TT.

If we stay a little back on the level, we don't get the water run off from the bath tub.
This reminds me, I wanted to put a clear corner to this as well.

I forgot to add this enhancement to my previous post. I just finished the project this weekend to the lower bunk area. It needed a TV in it and I did not want to ruin the THIN paneling trying to mount a TV to it. So I improvised, see the link.
Works GREAT!!

If you need to add a 2nd TV, look behind the radio in the front of the TT there is a splitter before of the Antenna amp that is not used.

We didn't have any water issues on our first trip, but we did hang a different shower curtain so maybe that helped.
I wish they had some kind of sliding door on the tub instead of the little curtain.
