Former Jayco owner coming back to Jayco

Howdy! Former Jayco pop-up owner here, and forum participant. Loved that thing, however wife wanted something more “substantial”, so in 2017 we purchased a 2017 Cherokee 294 BHS (Forest River). That was the same time we also joined the Forest River Owners Group forums. Nice trailer, served it’s purpose, but I always missed Jayco. I guess it’s kind of like the Ram vs Ford vs Chevy thing. You get a Ford, but miss your Ram, or Ram but miss your Chevy….

Anyways, in March of 2021 we started realizing our master plan. We purchased a 2021 Ram Crew Cab Dually 4x4 with the Cummins, (right before the whole inventory/microchip crisis) with the intention of upgrading the travel trailer to a fiver.

In May of 2022 we finally pulled the trigger. We traded in the travel trailer and purchased a Jayco 5th wheel. (We got a ridiculous trade in credit for it, so we couldn’t say no!). We decided on the 355MBQS because of the bunk room I can use as an office space since I now work 100% remote.

We LOVE IT!! We took it to Moab UT June of 2022 and have never been happier. We are very pleased with it, had ZERO issues with it, and I’m so happy to be back on this forum!

We’ll always have a special place in our hearts for pop-ups, but the fiver is the bee’s knees!😂
