Full time NEWB here.

Hi all! So at 43, I sold my company and I have begun my North American adventure with my boxer doggie Musgy Bogues. So far, 1,800 miles in and FINALLY have an internet connection worthy of checking out forums. Till now with bare 3G or 1X coverage it's been, pay bills, write family, check NHL scores if I have that last bit of bandwidth. In that order. I am traveling in a 2010 Ford F250 Lariat crew cab long bed (to store all the toys) hauling a 298 RES dual living room slide. To this point I have done all of the little upgrades, Winegard 8000 RTS Roadtrip MiniMax satellite dish, full directv package with NFL package (tough to get mobile, had to do some finagling), tossed the two silly swivel chairs and replaced them with a Lane bulldog XXL recliner. This week in Bend, OR I plan to purchase my Zodiac inflatable and a 15 hp outboard to finish off the accouterments. Seen so many Eagles so far it's great! Hope to meet them all, love this rig!

Sounds great and welcome to the forum. What year is your trailer? Are you planning to tour most of North America?

Thanks! It's a 2011 canuckowner and yep, plan to lollgygag my way across the continent. Upcoming: Yellowstone, Grand Tetons, Glacier National Park, other various parts of Wyoming and Montanan (never been to either), then be in Chicago for opening day at Soldier Field v.s the Bengals (I was born & raised in Chicago, have family there) and stay for awhile. Then up to Maine and the northeast for autumn, down to NY for the marathon Nov. 3rd (my buddy and his wife are running in it) then trickle down the east coast. Tampa for the holidays the trickle back west to New Orleans for Mardi Gras/Jazzfest. So far those are the only plans!!!

I did Canada through to the Arctic and all of Alaska and the inland passage on the ferry in 2008 for a few months, in an FJ cruiser with an XR650R strapped to the back, and that whet my appetite for this!
