As far as what trailer, well that depends on your needs actually. There's a wide variety of units to choose from...in every price range. Evaluate your needs and go from there!!!

2011 nissan armada platinum 2wd with tow package from factory. I am looking at the Jayco Jay flight 28bhbe. My owners manual says 9,100lbs max tow, 910lbs max tongue, and 15,100lbs max combined gross weight. I will be using a p3 brake controller and a wd hitch. This is my first travel trailer, but I have experience towing trailers though. I have my CDL drivers license. I just want some input frome people who know tt. I am never to proud to ask for help

We have a 2011 Nissan Armada 4wd with the factory tow package and aftermarket brake controller. It pulls our 2015 Jay Flight 23rb without any problems per DH.

The BHBE will most likely exceed the max TW available on the Armada. This trailer is long, and tows A LOT better the closer you get to 15% on the nose. Mine is up over a grand, and I upgraded to a RAM 2500 to tow it with. Armada is a formidable truck, but I would go smaller than the BHBE if I were you.

thanks for the info. i plan on buying a ram 2500 in about two years and buying the trailer the summer of 2016. i will only have to pull it with the armada for about a year. i will probley use the trailer for the summer mostly to go to the coast, which is 2 hours away. i hate to buy a smaller trailer just to get by for a year and then have to trade up once i get the truck. maybe if i just travel lightly and put most of the luggage over the axles and not towards the front i will be ok.
