gitting things set up

brought our new 2018 jayco eagle 5th wheel home Monday. puled a TT for years but this is our first 5th wheel as well as first Jayco. we are already in love with it. spent the past couple days getting all our stuff into it and making a few convenience mods. we leave on a shake down run in 2 days. think we are ready but am taking time to read through this forum and get a few pointers. thank you.

Don't know what mods you have done, some campgrounds do require blocks under all feet of your rig. Even if you have BIG feet pads.

Welcome!
This from a newly Jayco owner as well. Just got our 29QB home on Wednesday and getting ready for a shakedown as well. We come from a Shamrock Hybrid and so far we are totally loving these hard walls. Looking forward to some quiet sleep.
Enjoy your new unit and Happy Camping.

Welcome to JOF. This is one of the best forum's I've ever participated in. The Moderators are awesome, the the contributors are always helpful. Good luck on your shake down trip.

My first surprise when bringing our new Jayco home was realizing that my 30 amp service had no way to connect power to the new rigs 50A Marinco twist on connector.

Quick trip back to the dealer to purchase one. Now I have a box of adapters for every occasion.
