Razar,
CONGRATULATIONS!, and welcome to The Forum!
I've been full-timing for about 2-1/2 years, now, and just love the lifestyle. I spend April through mid-November hosting in State Park campgrounds in Michigan, then head to The Texas Hill Country for the winter months. It's just about as perfect a life as one could ask for! But, I learned my first year that you can burn up a lot of gas & cash driving all over Michigan, pulling your trailer to a different campground every two weeks. (Max. stay at a Michigan State Park campground is 15 days.) Last year, I was fortunate enough to book hosting gigs for the entire season, and all of them were within about a 75 miles of each other (with only one exception). That helped a lot! This upcoming season, I've arranged to spend the entire season at only 2 state parks that are within 30 miles of each other. Since my campsite and hook-ups will be free and my towing will be minimal, I should be able to stay busy, save some $, and save considerable wear & tear on my TV/RV combo. I can hardly wait!
What will you folks do to keep yourselves busy? Have you had a chance to make any summer/winter plans? We'd love to hear about them. Please share!
Again, congratulations on joining our community. Best of luck, and enjoy the life!
