Hi Leroy2u and welcome to the Jayco Owners Forum! Did you pick out an rv last week, or go camping for the first time in one you bought?

No I actually went and finally got one. I have been camping for 30 years (mostly backpacking). 95% of my camping has taken place in Wyoming and Montana, so I am anxious to get out in Texas more and use the air conditioner! Now that summer is here it's time to get out there.

Welcome to the forums Leroy2u! Trust me, you'll get to use the A/C here in Texas! I'm 40 miles east/northeast of Houston, and we've been hitting the upper 80's w/a few days in the low 90's already! Also got rain last night...first time in over two months here! Here in the Piney Woods/Gulf Coast region, it's pretty humid, but the hill country around San Antonio is GREAT!!!

Thanks George, your right about having the AC going from here on out. I was out this past weekend outside of Palacios and the overnight temp was in the mid 50's, absolutely perfect. Are you up in the Magnolia area or Hempstead?

Mark
