Great site- Jayflight furnace help needed

I just found this site when I was googling a problem with my RV furnace.
It looks like a great site for information and help.
My Jayflight furnace was working good (first year that I've used it but when I got back last night it was quite chilly inside...the furnace was on but the air being blown was cold...any suggestions?

Welcome to the forum.

If the fan is running then you have 12v power. Are you connected to 'shore power'?

You've probably already checked to see if the thermostat has the fan set to 'auto' and the thermostat is set to the correct temp and it set for 'heat' and not air conditioning.

So the heat and the fan was operating normally earlier yesterday (Saturday) but late yesterday and all night last night the furnace did not heat at all and the fan runs continuously. Correct?

It may be helpful, too, to include year and model information about your JayFlight.

Welcome to JOF. We are glad you joined us.

We went ahead and made a slight modification to the title of your post so hopefully someone will be along soon to offer you the help needed.

Edit: That was even quicker than we could have expected.
Thanks Sherm!

I am connected to shore power. My rv is a 2011 Jayco Jayflight 24 ft . I'm not sure that I'm navigating this site very well! Hopefully I'm replying in the right spot. I just tried the furnace again now and I am getting warm air again. Not sure what has changed....this is my first cold spell since I've taken up residence in it. Heading to Kauai in three weeks then housesitting in BC until April so hopefully the furnace continues to play nice! Thanks.

If the fan does not spin fast enough the sail switch will not let the gas valve open. In that old of a unit the fan could be dirty or you could even have a irratic sail switch. Mske sure non of the outlet vents are blocked too.

Glad it's working.

You've probably found out by now that the fan starts blowing cold air before furnace fires and continues to blow a while after the furnace quits... more cold air.
