Greetings from Anchorage Alaska
Bought a brand new 2019 Greyhawk 31FS and I'm loving it so far. Few kinks here and there on the unit but I guess that's part of getting to know your rig. I'm glad to join this very informative forums for Jayco owners. Thanks!

CONGRATULATIONS on the JAYCO!!!
...and WELCOME TO JOF!!! The members here are GREAT!!! There is a lot of GREAT information to be found here. I am sure that you will have information and pictures to share with us... so please do!!
On my way back from Viet Nam in 1971, I spent about 15 hours in Anchorage, well it was go there or land a little short of the states... landed, it was about 17 degrees, spent a lot of the time in the hotel bar that they kept open for us.

Did you look at available units on one of the RV Rental/Sales lots?? We are veterans of 3 MH trips around Ak and rented at ABC there in Anchorage. I browsed there for sale units on their website after returning from our trip last year.
Having rented multi times I can say for sure some of the units are in cleaner condition than others but they say all of them are no older than 2 model years. Buying new can be a crapshoot and living in Anchorage means your new unit was driven north from Indiana when it was delivered. The unit we rented in 2011 was fresh from the delivery trip and we were the first renters. DW and I even talked about doing the drive thru Canada to deliver a new unit for A BC and it dawned on me to fly up and buy one off the lot and then drive it back to the lower 48. Full circle I guess..
Enjoy the new MH.
