Greetings from North Alabama

My name is Josh, and my wife Heather and I have been trailer/camper camping for the last 3 years in a 2001 Flagstaff 176 popup. We just sold the popup and are looking to upgrade in the next couple months. Given we camp with 2 adults, 2 kids, and 2 dogs we're looking at options with plenty of sleeping room. That combined with the limitations of my current TV ('18 4Runner) we're looking VERY hard at hybrids, specifically the Jayco X23F.

We're looking forward to learning from the large and experienced member base here!

Greetings from South Alabama! I am about the same distance from the Gulf as you are from TN. You'll find a lot of good information here! My most used function of the forum is the New Posts link at the top. It'll show all new posts for the day from all categories. I don't post much but I do find interesting tidbits of information by looking across all categories.

Welcome aboard from Northern Neck Virginia... Yup you sure are from North Alabama. I'm guessing you are close enough to TN you can throw a rock at it hehe...

We really love camping off of I59 at Desoto at the Fort Payne exit. Also up into a short stretch into North Georgia at the Trenton exit for CLOUDLAND CANYON camp... Actually Cloudland is more favorite than DESOTO...

I have been to SCOTTSBORO a few times digging up bones from back in the Civil War days. One of my early BRADDYs from Illinois died there and was moved to Chattanooga buried with the unknown graves from around Scottsboro. Most everyone died from just getting sick in stead of battles... I think their job was to guard the railroad that goes through there...

Enjoy the good camping up on the LOOKOUT MTN and there are lots of camp grounds all around there...

Welcome from Wisconsin. Josh, have you checked the numbers? 2018 4Runner towing capacity is listed at 5000 lbs. 2018 X23F Unloaded vehicle weight is listed at 4440 lbs. That's pretty close.
