Greetings from NorthEast BC

I'm a newbie at this forum stuff, so hope I am doing things right. It is about 3:00
a.m. and I'm just sick about something that happened yesterday while preparing to leave cg. While lowering the hitch onto the ball, one of my sway bars (which was laying against the check plate face of trailer) got perfectly lodged against check plate and then punctured it. I was looking elsewhere, so didn't see it until too late. so now have a 3 inch hole. does anyone have any suggestions as to how to repair?

Welcome to the forum. Sorry to hear of the mishap. Would you have any pics? Sounds to me it's time to take it to a dealer with a body shop and let them take a look see. Hope it works out for you.
