Greetings from Northern Ontario

New hybrid owners - took our 2013 X17Z out on it's maiden voyage over Labour Day weekend (and a few extra days) - absolutely love it!

We are long time tenters, moved to a popup this year and quickly decided that the putting up & taking down was more than we wanted to do. The hybrid is the perfect solution for us (1 retiree and 1 retiree-in-training) - still can sleep under canvas but setup can be done in minutes.

Camping is done for us for this year but can hardly wait for spring!

Hi Maggie, welcome to JOF! We did similar, moving from a Coleman popup to our now x20e. I love sleeping under canvas, but appreciate the hardwalls, especially when the weather gets rough. Sorry to hear your season is over, but glad you got it out for it's maiden voyage. Good luck, JOF is a treasure trove of knowledge and if you have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask!

Hey Headhunter - thanks for the welcome. So much info on here. I've been browsing through the mods area for storage ideas - found some that we can use!

What a coincidence. I'm wearing a Thunder Bay Harley Davidson shirt!

I am from just outside Toronto.

Thanks, everyone. We are looking forward to many nights camping - although it will have to wait for next year as the camping season is done for us up here!
