Smile Greetings to all

On August 29 we drove to Crestview RV in Buda, TX to pick up our 2013 White Hawk 27DSRL. We had a very good orientation and spent the night in their camp ground for new owners. The next morning we had several glitches repaired and then towed it to a RV storage place that's about 3 miles from our house in Horseshoe Bay, Texas. Our 2012 F150 FX4 Eco Screw handled very well. Joining my wife and me for the ride were our standard long-hair Dachsund, Katie, and our solid white cat Sami. Both are seasoned travelers. Our first TT was a 1985 25ft Airstream Land Yacht, which we bought in 2000. We lived in it for a year while building a new house in Colorado. Later we downsized to a 17 ft Casita, keeping it for about 5 years. Strangely ( or old-age related), I had forgotten a lot about towing and living in a TT. But we are now back in the Colorado mountains and life is good. Looking forward to meeting lots of friends in this forum.

Y'all sound like seasoned RVers as well. We have a short hair black & brown dachsie that is ready to go camping literally at the sound of the word "camping". Welcome to the JOF, and hope you post often, including some pics when you can.

Nothing like a Dachsie. I need to come up with a ramp so she can exit or enter the TT. Lifting 28 lbs of wiggling dog isn't always easy.
