Hello

Hello, and good day. My wife and I are new to this forum and wanted to say hello, We just picked up our new 36KPTS yesterday and are very excited. Our assigned walk around guy was not very informative so we missed a couple of things. Hopefully someone can help? First I have not found where to turn on the front accent lights (the ones on the nose of the RV). Second can you tell me why they install a very nice vent fan in the bathroom and do not include the same wall mounted controls as the living area fan? Thank you

Hello and welcome to JOF. I can't personally help you with your questions but am sure others with the same or similar Jayco models will be able to do so.

Again, welcome aboard our forum. Visit and post often.

Welcome from Kansas City! Hopefully someone here can answer your questions. Seem like an industry standard that the bathroom fan switch is at the fan and not on the wall...at least from what I have seen.

Welcome to the forum.

I have a wall mounted switch in my bathroom as well. As far as the reasoning behind not doing the same in the living area, your guess is as good as mine. Cost to run wiring and a switch maybe?

I have an Eagle HT and there are 2 rubber covered switches to the right of my pin box that turns them on. (Right as you are looking at the front of the FW) You may have switches in the same area...

Welcome to the Jayco Owners Forum (JOF). Congratulations on the new Jayco Pinnacle 36KPTS Fifth Wheel. I'm sure you are going to enjoy it. Search the website, there is a great deal of info here addressing issues you may encounter as well as ideas on updating or improving your RV.

Congratulations and welcome! I made the mistake of taking DW into a 36KPTS last summer and as a result, as of yesterday we have one on order.

Not sure about the front accent lights, but if they are like our Eagle, they are on the same switch as the awning light. IMHO, a dumb setup.

As far as the bathroom fan, my guess is that they don't put the wall switch in because in theory you can reach the fan without needing a ladder. Obviously that's not the case fro the vertically challenged though.
