Hello

Just getting started with the forum. Been looking at TT's for quite a while. Which defines it as a long term process. Ownership is our future intent. We are taking a closer look at Jayco........the 29RKS 29RLDS and 28RLS. No matter which.............. What type and how much (R-rating) insulation is in the walls of the Jayco TT? The on-line brochure only refers to roof and slide out floor foil insulation.

Hello and welcome to the forum. We have a 2016 Whitehawk 27DSRL and really love the layout with the front bedroom and rear living. Kids are in college, and only come along occasionally, so we're good without the extra beds and needed family space.

My notes on R ratings - Glacier package rates the floor at R22, roof at R26, and walls are not upgraded and are rated at R5. I hope that helps.

Happy shopping, and welcome to the forum. Our local RV show is next weekend at the Colorado Convention Center, and there are probably lots of shows across the nation at this time so you can get out and look at lots of layouts at one time.

Tom

Welcome to the Jayco Owner's Forum. Good luck on whatever you decide on. We chose a Melbourne 24L motorhome after much thought and research and have been happy with it. Hope you end up as happy as we are with our RV.

I'm not sure on the insulation, but there's construction info on the Jayco site.
