A few years ago we did an Illinois staycation. (instead of the Rockies, Canada, etc.

Here are some great areas to think about.
Starved Rock State Park hiking and I&M Canal trail nearby

Down south
Fern Cliffs nice hikes Tunnel Trails nearby for cycling
Cave in Rock historical sites
Rend Lake fishing, water sports
Trail of Tears hiking

We finished by going across to six flags for a couple of days

Thanks for the welcome! I need to replace the carbon monoxide detector. Where can i get one designed for camper. I am looking for a battery one, not hardwired.
Thanks

Any big store will have them with battery backup. I have an ac plug in type w/ battery backup for when my hw unit goes out. I have to remove the battery when not in use.
