Hello & Super Excited

Finally decided on a brand, and model, just put down our deposit on a 2015 White Hawk 28DSBH. Will be picking it up next week. Now just need to sell our 2009 19h soon. Can't get warm soon enough! Looking forward to the knowledge on this site.

Thanks all, we loved our Jay Feather, but it was time to move on to something a little bigger, I think we'll be very happy with our choice.

Welcome to the Forum. Also good luck selling your used unit. That can sometimes take a while.

Congrats!! We just put a down payment on a 2015 White Hawk 28DSBH on Saturday ourselves. This is our first TT and wanted something that would be big enough for the five of us but light enough for my Tahoe to pull! We are so excited and ready to explore the great outdoors with the family.

Off the wall question, has anyone had any issues with the safety chains on the newer Jayco's being too short? My dad got a new Jayco back in 2011 and for whatever reason, the safety chains were about a link too short when crossing the chains and hooking up to a silverado receiver hitch, the dealer had to make some modification delaying his trailer delivery. Just killing time until i get to go pick up ours on Friday, and had the dreaded thought of something not being right at delivery.

I have a couple of heavy duty Chain Link Connectors added to my hitch because I have an extended shank hitch. They are inexpensive and stores like Tractor Supply should have them in stock. Grab a couple and you're covered if you need them, return them if you don't.

I had this problem too. Luckily I had purchased two 10,000 lb lockable snap links that I could hook the chains into
