Hello everybody!

Just stopped in to say hello and to introduce ourselves to everybody. We are Mark & Debie. Although not at all being new to the RV lifestyle, we are back to the world of Jayco owners. We recently purchased a 06, 29N Jayfeather and are getting it ready for our first trip out. We have been camping since we were kids and cannot even think of life with out it. We started out with pop-ups and finally graduated to a 24ft Wilderness, then a 27ft Cherokee and now a Jayco 29n.
There is a definate difference. We are empty nesters with kids and grand kids in northern and southern Illinois, so the camper goes north and south quite a bit.
And don't forget Belle...the wonder dog!

Hello Mark, Debie & Belle...nice to meet up with you - we're new to the forum also... haven't even picked up the trailer from the dealer (too cold here still...campgrounds aren't yet open!). We started with pop-ups as well and graduated slowly to hard-sided TT's. Had an AeroLite that grew too small for us! Can't wait to get out there and enjoy the spring!

Welcome! We are empty-nesters with a 2005 29N also. The trailer seems perfect for the two of us and the two dogs.

Thanks Fellow campers!

Thanks fellow campers, what a warm welcome. Belle tha wonder dog is a white Lab. She thinks that she is human as you can see her laying on the couch in the Jayco. She (and us too) love to camp, and we do more each year. With our kids and grandkids at the southern and norhern ends of Illinois we seem to go in those directions quite often. I attached a pic of a mod that I did, the 29N has no drawers in the kitchen. I simply removed the left door under the sink and made up 2 drawers, the top is just long enough for a silverware caddy to fit due to the sink drain and the lower drawer is the full depth of the cabinet, so it is roughly 31" deep which is deep enough for kitchen utensils and towels, pot holders and the like in the back. Made tons of very usable storage. My next project is a large drawer in the dinette seat like a lot of RV's have today. Will be used for pots and pans.
Happy Camping!
