Hello Everyone!

Newbie here, boy that's hard to say at my (our) age. Looking to purchase a Jayco Seismic Wave toyhauler. We are motorcycle riders and are looking forward to checking out the country on both 2 and 4 wheels. We currently have a 2007 Dodge Ram 3500 as a tow vehicle. Any helpful hints or tricks would be greatly appreciated.

Welcome to JOF. As you’re searching for a toyhauler, keep an eye on hitch pin weights of the trailers and the payload capacity of your tow vehicle. There’s a sticker on the drivers door jam of your truck that gives a good starting point for payload. Toyhaulers can have heavy pin weights and often best paired to a dually.

Welcome to JOF. I have met several who full time in Seismic waves. Their main complaint was to keep a close eye on your tires and weights. It's easy to fill that large room with to heavy a load. The info about a dually is advised also by owners. I don't think I have seen many not being towed by a dually.

We met one couple who raised dogs and used it as a kennel, another made it into an office.

Enjoy and visit and contribute often.
