Hello from a semi-full time RV dweller.

Hello I just joined after someone referred me to this site! In May of 2018 we bought our 2010 Jayco Eagle 29.5RKS. I had been camping a decent amount as a kid, my wife had NEVER been. We jumped right in, we might have been crazy. We spent 8 weeks on the road that summer traveling to over 20 USA National Parks; NY to NC to CA to OR, and back to NY. How did it go? Well, we are still married, and this summer we spent 7 weeks in Canada visiting their parks. We've done 16,000 miles in just over 14 months. We are on the academic calendar, so we live in it semi-full time, and spend every free night on the road in the summer from our camper!

We are more than delighted with our camper. We demand a lot out of it, and it holds up great, even for buying it used. I'd be hard pressed to get a different brand in the future!

Looking for many more great adventures!

Welcome aboard. Sounds like a fabulous two summers.

Sometimes I wish I was a teacher, just to have the opportunities for extended trips. Unfortunately work keeps getting in the way.

Well, I "retired" at 33 and went back to school to be a teacher. Anything is possible! It's not all roses and rainbows- we spend a lot of time in the camper on our laptops doing writing/research during the summer. But the reading by the campfire is also wonderful.
