Hello From Cincinnati, Ohio Jay Feather 165 Sport

Hello everyone,
Doug & Julie here from Cincinnati, Ohio.
We just retired and moved from a Fleetwood pop-up to a 2007 Jay Feather 165 Sport.
We basically bought this camper to extend our travels out West and be more comfortable.
We also got a new rescue Pooch and we'll be able to leave her inside for an hour or two if we want to do a nice dinner.
The trailer is in very good condition and I just went through it top to bottom before putting it in cold storage.
I treated any surface rust with Rust Stop and primered and painted all wheels inside and out. I also undercoated the frame and painted to A-frame
and bottom trim. Washed, waxed and surviced the roof. Everything seems to be in great condition for our trip next summer.
I also installed an E2 Equilizer hitch on the TT and getting ready to install a hidden hitch on my 4Runner. That should put us in a good place for safe travels.

I enjoy reading all the posts here and like learning about different approaches to different problems.
I also enjoy the modifications people make.
I don't see any other 165 Sport owners here. Hope to find some.

Kind regards, Doug

Welcome Doug and Julie! I also live in this area near Oxford. Go RedHawks! Congratulations on your upgrade and maybe see you around at our local CG's.
