Hello from Dallas

Hi everyone. I just joined the forum after purchasing a 2015 Jayco White Hawk 33BHBS Summit Edition last week.

I am an avid camper, but I'm too tired of sleeping on the ground anymore so I decided to upgrade to something more comfortable.

This is my first RV and I took it out on its maiden voyage over the past weekend. I had my first little accident with a tree but it was nothing a rubber mallet could not resolve.

I am glad to be here and I anticipate I will have lots of questions for this group.

Thanks

We just got back from it. LOL. Placed a rug in the front door area, toilet brush with stand in bathroom, etc. We will pick it up this time next week to place into home driveway to get ready to go to Dinosaur State Park in Glen Rose the 24th.

Welcome Salomon from a little bit more North in Frisco! I used to visit mine daily too, but after a year of ownership, I'm done to twice a week...

....and don't forget bailing wire. It's what held the pickups, wheat combines and other farm impliments together on the ol' farm that I grew up on.

Welcome and hello from Cedar Hill, TX. Had my first camping trip two weeks ago at Lake Purtis Creek. The wife and I caught 8 crappie on one day and 10 the next. It's a beautiful little lake not far from Dallas.

Next up Jamaica Beach RV in Galveston TX for one week at the end of May. Maybe I'll get to go deep sea fishing down there. So much to do in Texas; we have it all right here.

Just south of you in Midlothian. Will have to give Lake Purtis Creek a try.

Howdy from Las Colinas! I'd visit my MH more often in storage, but mine's up by Lake Lewisville and I didn't get 24 hour access (it was already crazy expensive as it was). I really wish there were closer and more reasonable storage options...but the pickins are slim around these parts.
