Hello From El Paso

Can't stay here (at the puter) long, I am dropping the underbelly of my Jay Feather Ultralite 242 to install a tornado. That's how I came across this forum... I Googled info and brought me here. Ive only owned this TT for about 2 months now... the wife and I took our maiden voyage about 2 weeks ago and we were very pleased with our purchase. She didn't feel too safe in the Pop-up we use to have, and glad we did upgrade because a bear visited our neighbors campsite the 2 day we were there. Well back to work. will check back later and update you on the progress.

Ok, got the underbelly dropped back to the tandem... I can see the black water tank just forward of the front axle, kinda shocked as to its dimensions. It appears to be about 4 inches deep on the shallow (towards the ends) and about 6 inches deep in the center. The tank length is almost the width of the TT, and the width of the tank is about 18 inches. I had to stop for the evening... will need a second set of hands to help me lower the underbelly the rest of the way without damaging it. Will take some pics of the progress and U/L once the project is complete... will U/L to the proper area once I familiarize myself with this forum.

Welcome to the JOF Texas Vet 2011! This looks like a good mod to add to the Jayco Mods section. Congrats on a successful maiden voyage
