Hello from Indiana!

Hello, my name is Tim I'm not new to camping been going my full 21 years of life within the last few years i have been able to get a great job building medical parts, get a place of my own, I've been married for a little over a year now my wife and i enjoy camping quite a bit but camping in tents really hurt her back so i set out to find us something to enjoy, the opportunity came up when my friend posted his pop up for sale needless to say i came home with a new to me 1997 jayco eagle 10 pop up camper it needs just a few things but I'm proud of it hoping to make new friends and learn more since this is my first camper

Thats just how we started out. I camped with my folks until it was not cool any more. Got a tent when I was 16 and used it until I got married, then had a pop up for 11 years and just sold it and bought our 297BHS. Enjoy, have you been to the state parks yet? Where you at in Indiana? We are in the NW corner

yeah I've been to a few state parks, I've been to paynetown, springmill state park, Lincoln state park, and turkey run which is by far my favorite so far, I'm located in South central Indiana in a little town called Oolitic, its about an hour south of indy

Welcome Tim. Same as you I camped my whole life and then after getting married my wife said no more tenting. Bought our first pop-up in 1990. 4 different campers now in the past 24 years and still get excited for every trip.

Hello from a fellow Hoosier!

We like to camp at Lincoln, mainly because it's close to our home here in Evansville. Maybe we'll run in to each other. I have an X23B with a JOF sticker on the bumper!!

Retired almost 10 yrs ago and bailed out of Indy for our home near Dale Hollow Lake Tn/Ky border. We cut our camping teeth on 2 Coleman pop-ups and the IN state parks, mostly in the early Spring and Mid to late Fall when the crowds tend to thin. We also pulled them West [Yellowstone] [RockyMtn NP] [Grand C], South [Fla] and put countless fun and low cost miles before upgrading to TT's in retirement. Indiana has what I still believe are some of the finest State Parks in the country. Enjoy!!

I'm actually trying to plan a trip down there either later this month or might hold off until September since mine and the wifes birthdays are next month, and thank you for the warm welcome and welcomes from everybody not sure if I can quote multiple people on here haven't figured it out yet if there is a way, this weekend in installing a new board on the front of the roof where it curves down that is the only board it needs

Welcome to the Forum! I remember Oolitic from the movie Hoosiers (but I don't remember the team they played in the movie) and also because I grew up in Indy.
